The LPN/Office Nurse will take the patient to the exam room and take the vital signs, weight, and history.# LPN will be responsible for injections, setting up surgical trays, cleaning surgical instruments and sterilizations.# The LPN will maintain cleanliness and stocking of exam rooms.## The LPN will review all lab reports for any abnormalities for the provider, record, and have provider# sign off on all reports.# The LPN will call patients at the provider#s request regarding any abnormal lab reports or actions to be taken due to the lab reports, sending report to medical records for placing in patients chart.# The LPN will return patient phone calls and call in prescriptions at provider#s orders. #The LPN is responsible for nursing procedures such as EKG, oximetry and IV#s.# The LPN is responsible for maintaining all medical equipment.# The LPN is responsible for making sure all procedures; tests, etc. are marked on patient routing slips to ensure financial success of practice. The LPN/Office Nurse will be cross-trained for other medical staff members as well as in other areas of the office for fill in as necessary. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Requires a high school education or equivalent. Requires a current LPN License (S.C.) Two years medical office experience (as office nurse or hospital experience)
