Labor and Delivery RN

Position: Labor & Delivery RN

Location: Tripler Army Medical Center

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care in the labor and delivery setting.
Manage care for normal and high-risk obstetric patients, ensuring their safety and the optimal health of both mother and child.
Administer medications, perform episiotomies if necessary, and assist in cesarean sections.
Monitor fetal health during labor and childbirth using intermediate fetal monitoring techniques.
Resuscitate and stabilize newborns following delivery.

Qualifications
Educational Requirement: Must hold an Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Certifications Needed:
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)/Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)/Advanced Life Support (ALS)
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
Neonatal Resuscitation Program

Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last three (3) years in a Labor and Delivery department.

Compensation
Pay Rate: $60 per hour
