Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) Educator looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera's patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

• The Patient Educator is responsible to teach clients aspects of the childbirth/childcare experiences.

Education and/or Experience

• Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of maternal child experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required.
• Childbirth education certification preferred.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm; 64hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $32.50 - $48.75 per hour
