Salary Range

The Executive Director provides leadership, direction and planning for mother-baby sponsored services included in the joint venture between UnityPoint Health – Meriter and UW Health.  This individual serves as the liaison to the administrative leadership and medical staffs of the hospitals and other entities to which the hospitals give mother baby related services.

Minimum Requirements

  • Graduate degree from an accredited college or university in healthcare or hospital administration, nursing administration, business administration or related discipline
  • 10 years progressive management
  • Valid driver’s license—must have ability to travel to various locations throughout the workday
  • Broad knowledge of modern healthcare administration, practices and principles
  • Advanced quantitative knowledge and analytic ability
  • Effective leadership abilities
  • Effective organizational, planning, controlling scheduling and project management abilities
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic thinking, planning and problem solving
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient and family centered care, service excellence, and performance improvement
  • Demonstrated history of positive and collaborative relationships with physicians and administrators
  • Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position

Preferred or Specialized

  • Service Line Leadership—Maternal Child Health, Women’s Health
  • Leadership experience in maternal and/or neonatal health
  • Experience working within a teaching program or academic medical center and integrated healthcare system
  • Certification in mother-baby specialty
