Description:

This position supports clinical staff in an area of specialization for the advancement of clinical practice and professional development. Utilizes innovative education planning and programming. Demonstrates expertise in clinical practice. Collaborates and consults with clinical administrative disciplines for new programs and service improvement. Demonstrates leadership through role modeling, mentoring and utilizing research principles to facilitate and promote evidence based practice. The clinical RN Educator is recognized for clinical and educational expertise.

Qualifications:

Degrees: Masters Licenses & Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program Basic Life Support Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Pediatric Advanced Life Support Registered Nurse Additional Qualifications: Masters degree in Nursing. Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical or teaching experience. Certification in the area of specialty or certification obtained within 6 months of hire. ACLS, PALS or NRP certification as appropriate to area of specialty. Competent in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Ability to lead project management, organize and set work priorities in a multi-task environment.
