Job DescriptionDepartment: MedSurg with float to Post-Partum OB
Status: Occasional
Shift: All Shifts
Our Medical-Surgical Department gives employees to the opportunity to learn and develop skills while caring for a multitude of patient types. We provide care for all patient ages, pediatric through geriatric. if you are looking for a great patient mix, the Medical Surgical unit is where you will find it. Daily patient assignments give you the benefit of caring for the people with various illnesses, surgical needs,and medical needs and also provides an opportunity to utilize multiple procedural skills.
Medical-Surgical nurses also work closely with our obstetrics department and have the opportunity to care for post-partum patients as well. There is a great mix of new and very experience staff and the culture is welcoming and warm. New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply and become part of this great department.
Education: Graduate of accredited nursing program
Experience: Minimum graduate nurse of accrediting professional program. New RN graduates are welcome to apply.
Licensure/Certification: Current State of Idaho RN license; current BLS certification (AHA);
preferred certifications: ACLS and PALS or obtained within 6 months of hire
