As a Registered Nurse on the Labor and Delivery unit, you will be joining a team of professionals who are dedicated to deliver excellent care to our patients. You will enable patients to reach their goals through care specifically designed to cater to individual patient needs, and also administered by some of the most highly skilled and trained providers in the Rocky Mountain region.
Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse must be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in the care of his/her patients. Each service also requires specialized skills. The delivery of care is based on criteria that is age appropriate and is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient. The Registered Nurse may rotate to other areas other than his/her normally assigned service area/s, and will perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency. The Registered Nurse performs delegated duties consistent with his/her scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at NSMC. The Registered Nurse displays positive support for NSMC as well as the entire HealthONE organization. The OB/GYN RN cares for Adult, Adolescent and Newborn.

- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license
- BSN preferred
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- One to two years of recent L&D experience required
