The division is a comprehensive network of hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, emergency centers and diagnostic imaging facilities in greater Houston, Corpus Christi and South Texas. Facilities include 17 hospitals, nine ambulatory care centers, 13 off-campus emergency centers, and a regional transfer center.What you will do in this role:Collects and analyzes data in order to identify expected outcomes for the observation and medical/surgical patientsDeveloping and prioritizes the plan of care to attain measurable goalsImplements the interventions identified and evaluates the results, especially in relation to Critical Care patients (whichever applies).Identifies educational needs, implements and evaluates learning and documents patient/family educationDemonstrates critical thought and judgment in the delivery of care related to Critical care patientsDelivers medications based upon continual assessment, safety and evaluation of patient responseQualificationsWhat qualification you will need:Bachelors of Science in Nursing is requiredCurrent RN license in Texas and/or current Compact License1-year L& D experience requiredCurrent BCLS Certification RequiredCurrent ACLS and NRP Certifications RequiredAWHONN Fetal Monitoring course within 90 days of hire dateHCA Healthcare ranks on Fortunes list of Most Admired Companies for three consecutive years and HCA ranks 63rd on the fortune 500 list.
